They can be glued to walls and ceilings in different kinds of rooms. What are they made out of? The HD styrofoam ceiling tiles are made out of thicker and higher density polystyrene, than our regular styrofoam tiles. The HD tiles have more 3D-like texture and their surface is very smooth. The tiles have high water resistance and very easy to clean with ordinary cleansers. How big are they? Roughly 19.6 in x 19.6 in (1 tile covers 2.64 sq. ft) Thickness of material is around 0.19". Design's depth: 0.79"-0.98" Sold by pack of 8. To cover 21.12 sq ft. Limited quantities. Final sale. How many 20x20 tiles would you need? Measure your area in square feet and divide the number by 2.64 This is exactly how many tiles you need. We always recommend to add 10% for waste to that number. As example. You have 200 sq ft area. 200 / 2.64 = 76. You need 76 tiles. Add 10% for waste and the final number is 84 tiles. Based on in-house experimentation and user feedback, we only recommend water-based paint for these tiles as any other is likely to damage the tiles. If you purchase any other color, the tiles will be hand-painted by our painters. So we consider this type of job as a custom job. Pictures of hand-painted tiles and real tiles in your hands may look a little different due to limitations of the camera. Also different monitors show same colors different ways. We strongly recommend you to purchase samples before you place full order! We will not accept returns for hand-painted items. We have to pay the painters to do the job and it's very hard to resell the painted tiles again, because there are hundreds or thousands of different variations of patterns/colors.
